This block set consists of 18 thick Pinewood pieces with real images of children from 18 different countries or continents. The children are featured in their traditional dress from Sweden, India, Saudi Arabia and more. Each piece is labeled with the country that the child is from. Ideal for role play and storytelling, children will develop their social and emotional intelligence as they create narratives and learn about the different ethnicities and backgrounds. Fine motor skills are also developed as children grasp the hand-sized blocks and stand them up. Made with New Zealand Pine, the pieces are 0.8" thick so they stand on their own.
