Letter Sounds (Grapheme to Phoneme Cards)

The Rainbow Phonics Letter Sounds pack contains 151 cards for teaching the variousspelling-to-sound patterns of the English language. Each card is levelled and follows theprogression in accordance with Rainbow Phonics. Borders are color-coded according to thePhases of Rainbow Phonics. Mnemonics are used to help children memorize the grapheme-to-phoneme relationship. Early cards also include handwriting formation printed on thereverse, to help children learn the letter formation and they memorize the letter sound. Alsoincludes cards to teaching the letter formation of capital letters. At the high level, speechmarks are used for scaffolding so that children can group alternative spelling patterns intosound families. These are also integrated into the lessons for the Teacher Planners at thedifferent grade levels. Letter Sounds provides an easy way to learn all the phonemes of theEnglish language.
