Homophones (Homophone Cards)

Explore different spelling patterns with words that make the same sound but have differentletters patterns. Homophones by Rainbow Phonics is a set of 65 cards covering the mostcommon homophone patterns. Each card is double-sided, with homophone words andimages on one-side, and an analysis of homophone spellings and sounds on the reverse.Children can see how different grapheme can make the same sound, but change the meaningof the word. The outside borders are color-coded in accordance with Phase 5.5 of RainbowPhonics. Cards also integrate with the lessons in the Teacher Planners taught specificallyacross First and Second grades.
